To prove the reliability of Kastar products, we did some product testing videos. This article collects all test videos for easy reading.

The test of maldehyde content

We tested the formaldehyde of Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer and other brands.

As you see. This is our Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer sample, and here is a standard formaldehyde tester. After 5 minutes, we can see that the Kastar sample is in the safe range.

But when using the same method to test other products in the same environment at the same time, the result indicates that formaldehyde is moderately exceeded the standard which is.

 

The test of insoluble & No discoloration

We put Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer and other brands of sealant into two transparent containers filled with water with caulking-gun. After 24 hours, we can see that Kastar is insoluble in water and does not fade, because we add silica to the gel to form a dense waterproof layer, so it has a better waterproof effect.

Other brands of sealants are seriously discolored and soluble in water.

 

The test of Flexibility

This is the sample of Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer. This is another sample of other brands. We fold two samples at the same time. The other sample is broken. Kastar is as good as before. Kastar added the toughening agent from Belgium makes the tile sealer more flexible and easy to cope with thermal expansion and cold shrinkage, so Kastar has better flexibility and toughness.

 

The test of Non-toxic, safe and waterproof

 

This is a dry and blank sheet of paper. This is a primitive hand-made fishbowl made of ceramic tile and bonded with Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer. Now let’s put The fish and water into the bowl at the same time. After 24 hours, we can see that the fish is still full of vitality which proofs that Kastar is absolutely non-toxic and safe. Now let’s remove the fishbowl, the paper is still dry, which tells that Kastar waterproofing effect is first-class.

 

The test of stain-proof

We poured soy sauce on the ceramic tiles filled with Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer. After 2 hours, we wiped the soy sauce with a cloth easily, and the ceramic tiles are as clean as before.

 

 

We prepared the acid solution, through the PH test paper, we can see that its PH value is less than or equal to 3 is a strong acid. We put the Kastar sample into the solution, and after 24 hours, we can see that the Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer didn’t discolor nor deform, and as hard as before, which proofs that Kastar has great acid-resistance performance.

 

The test of Alkali-resistance

We prepared an alkaline solution, through the PH test paper, we can see that its PH value is greater than or equal to 13 is strong alkali. We put Kastar sample into the solution, and after 24 hours, we can see that the Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer didn’t discolor nor deform, and as hard as before, which proofs that Kastar has great alkali-resistance performance.

 

The test of Wear-resistance

Scrape the cured Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer sample with an ordinary screwdriver, as hard as you can try, it still remains intact and without tiny scratches. Now you can see that Kastar has a perfect hardness and excellent wear-resistant performance.

 

The test of Anti-mildew

We sent KASTAR samples to a specialized testing lab for anti-mildew testing, after 28 days, no mildew growth observed under a 50-fold microscope. We also obtained these relevant official certificates, now you can see KASTAR has extraordinary anti-mildew performance

 

The test of high temperature boiling

Firstly let‘s boil the water to 100℃(Degrees Celsius) in an electromagnetic oven, then put the sample of Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer in it for more than 30 minutes, now turn off the oven, took out Kastar sample. We can see that the sample did not fade, did not deform, which proofs that Kastar has wonderful high-temperature resistance effect and it will have great performance for houses equipped with the floor-heating system.

 

The test of low-temperature freezing

This is a frozen Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer sample that has been put into the refrigerator for over 72-hours. Now let’s break the ice with a hammer. We can see that the sample has not deformed and discolored under the condition of freezing temperature. which proofs that Kastar has wonderful low-temperature resistance effect and it will have great performance for places with cold climate. Technically the low-temperature resistance of Kastar can up to – 30 degree after curing.

 

The test of high strength(high hardness)

Smash the cured Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer sample with an ordinary hammer, as hard as you can try, it still remains intact and without any deformation. Then crash it with an automobile weighing more than 2T, twice, the sample remains good as before. Now you can see that Kastar has perfect strength and excellent hardness.

 

The test of No-Flow on the wall

Kastar Ceramic Tile Sealer can be used directly on the wall tiles and it will never drop!
